If the traditional church baptism doesn’t appeal to you, we can design a child welcoming or naming ceremony that involves just you, your extended family and friends, or your entire community!

Example of Name Declaration:
Parents: He is to be called Gabriel.

Leader:This, for Gabriel, is a new name. It goes along with him in his new life story.

It is our hope, Gabriel, that you will wear this name and live this story in honor, peace and with courage, and that many will come to look upon your name and find it blessed.

May the name he bears unite him with all his family roots, the triumphs of the past and the promise of his future.

May the love he now receives be an intimation of the love he will in turn give to others as he assumes the responsibilities of his own life.

Then with the blessing and love of his parents, it is my honor to announce that this child is formally named Gabriel.

Our goal is to design a ceremony that reflects your beliefs and welcomes your child into your circle of family and friends. Water, wine or rose ceremonies may be added to the day's festivities.
